Donna Hall retires as editor of AJC

“We are all very grateful for the work Donna has done for the Cox Logs over the past three years,” Sandy Schwartz, executive director of the Cox Family Office, said in a statement.

“Donna came in and did a great job moving AJC from Cox Media Group and establishing it as an independent operation,” added Schwartz, who also oversees the company’s newspapers in Atlanta and Ohio. “Most importantly, however, we are grateful for his many contributions during his 35 years with Cox. We celebrate his wonderful career and wish him the best for the future.

Prior to becoming a publisher, Hall served as vice president of marketing, audience and press operations for Cox Media Group, and served as vice president and market manager for Cox’s Atlanta Radio Stations. She also served as vice president of sales for Cox Media and senior vice president of marketing and audience development for CMG. Hall holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
