Best known for… As ex-boss of Formula 1 motor-racing team Jordan, Eddie appeared regularly as a TV pundit on Formula 1 coverage for BBC Sport (2009-2015) and for C4 (2016-2025). Other achievements… He co-presented Top Gear between 2016 and 2018 and appeared on shows such as A Question of Sport and Saturday Kitchen. Family life… Eddie died at his home in Cape Town, South Africa, on 20 March following a prostate-and-bladder-cancer diagnosis. He was 76 and is survived by his wife Marie and their four children.
